This just in.
  • ALS is not contagious.
  • Dumping buckets of ice water on your head is.
  • It's an epidemic. While ALS affects 5 out of every 100,000 people in the United States, by my calculations, at least half of the population is afflicted by buckets of ice water dumped on their heads.
